Windows 10    v1909  released!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Microsoft released Windows 10 v1909  on November 12, 2019.     This is different than other major feature updates, as it shares a common core operating system with v1903 with an identical set of system files.      This release installs more like a cumulative quality update, rather than a full update, which means it is much faster and easier to install.        <\/span><\/p>\n

Microsoft Endpoint Manager Announced<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Microsoft announced early this month that is working on bringing together System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and the Microsoft Intune mobile management service into a new brand called \u201cMicrosoft Endpoint Manager\u201d.       Based on the information provided, Microsoft Endpoint Manager includes:    Config Manager,  Intune, Co-Management , Desktop Analytics and     Device Management Admin Console.     <\/p>\n

In fact SCCM is to be re-branded as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and subsequent updates to Configuration Manager will remove the name System Center.  \n More info here<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

VMware Introduces \u201cWorkspace ONE for Microsoft Endpoint Manager\u201d <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Microsoft brings back OneNote <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To be fair it never left! It was just available as a Universal Window Platform (UWP) App where    many  of the features of the full desktop app were missing and this was a challenge for many. (I myself never updated to the UWP app and continued to use the desktop version hoping someday in the future I will deal with it)<\/p>\n

To my (and I think everyone\u2019s surprise) Microsoft announced in early November 2019 that it will bring back the full desktop versions (32 bit and 64bit)   with the release of Office 365 or Office 2019 in March 2020. YEAH!!! Further, With the new re-release, OneNote 2016 will be supported until October 14th 2025 (in extended support) YEAH!!! YEAH!!!<\/p>\n
