Sort of like asking a casino owner how to make money in Vegas&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more-->What can I say other than right on! Putting aside the embarrassment (silly I know), I\u00a0 have been avoiding doing this exactly BECAUSE of this\u2026\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So what now?\u00a0\u00a0 Keep reading his post\u2026 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" style=\"border-style: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/jorgep.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/wlEmoticon-smile.png\" alt=\"Smile\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0 He has 21 points of advice\u2026\u00a0 Some of the key pieces of his advice (not in the same order as he wrote it) that still today resonated with me are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get rich slow<\/li>\n<li>Focus on providing value and building trust (public reputation)<\/li>\n<li>Obsessively specialize. No niche is too small if it&#8217;s yours.<\/li>\n<li>Lead<\/li>\n<li>Fail. Fail often and fail cheaply<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t quit your day job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I pause to reflect, and absorb\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 After a couple of days, I go back and keep educating myself.\u00a0 I run into a lot of the \u201cI can show you, if you buy this from me\u201d type sites\u2026\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Then I ran into:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartpassiveincome.com\/\">Pat Flynn\u2019s\u00a0 Smart Passive Income<\/a> site.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What I found the MOST interesting thing about this article is that he is very transparent about his experience\u2026 He has published monthly income reports for his online business adventure, going back to his beginnings\u2026\u00a0 This alone is extraordinary!\u00a0 (I think he was the first to do this, and not many have followed)\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>He has a podcast which I began to listen to.\u00a0\u00a0 Like I often do,\u00a0 I go to the first podcast to see\u00a0 what he is up to\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartpassiveincome.com\/spi-001-introduction-show-formalities-what-to-expect\/\">SPI 001 : Introduction | Show Formalities | What to Expect<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I liked him so I keep listening\u2026\u00a0 to the next couple ones\u00a0 where he talks about his approach and ideas (as opposed to him doing interviews).\u00a0 They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartpassiveincome.com\/spi-004-5-powerful-ways-to-create-profitable-passive-income-products\/\">SPI 004 : 5 Powerful Ways to Create Profitable Passive Income Products<\/a><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartpassiveincome.com\/spi-006-6-hurdles-i-encountered-when-starting-my-online-businesses-and-exactly-how-i-overcame-them\/\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">SPI 006 : 6 Hurdles I Encountered When Starting My Online Businesses and Exactly How I Overcame Them<\/span><\/a><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Side note:\u00a0 As I was researching this topic, I ran article from <\/span><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/internetbusinessmastery.com\/\"><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Internet Business Mastery<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0 regarding micro sites or <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Niche_marketing\">niche sites<\/a>, which made me even more intrigued about this space..\u00a0\u00a0 They have a series of <\/span><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/internetbusinessmastery.com\/1landing\/microsite\/the-critical-milestone\/\"><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">4 short intro videos<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> to making money using Micro Niches.\u00a0\u00a0 The 4th one\u00a0 is an advertisement for their course, so please ignore it..
