As mentioned in the\u00a0 previous post First Research<\/a>, I began the process by doing a bit of research.<\/p>\n

After the first couple of weeks of reading and listening to a number of resources (will post them separately,\u00a0\u00a0 a bit of a theme started to resonate with me\u2026<\/p>\n

Primarily:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Overnight successes are possible but rare.\u00a0 Prepare for the long-haul. (8-12 months!)\n
      \n
    • LEARN \u2013> IMPLEMENT \u2013> MEASURE \u2013> ITERATE.\u00a0 Get better!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Write great content with voice and passion.\u00a0\u00a0 (this will pull people in)<\/li>\n
    • Do not make it about the money (people will notice it \u2013 see #3) its about the lifestyle and freedom.<\/li>\n
    • Focus will be your biggest enemy.\n
        \n
      • Too many things to distract you.\u00a0 Write your weekly \/ daily goals and stick to them!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • If you think it is easy, you are wrong.<\/li>\n
      • \n
          \n
        • It is hard work to produce and get it rolling, but residuals over time can be high.<\/li>\n
        • Once traffic is rolling, then it is self contained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Give away lots free stuff with no strings attached.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Become the expert!<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Receive questions over email — and then answer in a blog post or email\u00a0 for free!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            How can you make money online:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Solicit Donations<\/li>\n
            2. CPM\u00a0 — legacy from old media (requires lots of traffic needed)<\/li>\n
            3. PPC –\u00a0 Drive people to click!<\/li>\n
            4. Banner Advertisement<\/li>\n
            5. Sponsorships\u00a0 (podcast on a topic and sell<\/li>\n
            6. Premium Memberships<\/li>\n
            7. Coaching: Groups \/ Individual<\/li>\n
            8. Product Sales (non-affiliate) \/ Reseller (drop ship it)<\/li>\n
            9. Affiliate Marketing<\/li>\n
            10. Webinars \/ Tele-seminars<\/li>\n
            11. Digital Books \/ Goods \/ Training\u00a0 (Videos is the best today<\/li>\n
            12. Sell your particular knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              About traffic: <\/strong><\/p>\n

              Traffic is the oxygen your internet business needs to survive<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

              Driving Traffic: (must have good content!)<\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Buy traffic (not very Effective)<\/li>\n
              2. Google Keywords<\/li>\n
              3. Article Syndication.<\/li>\n
              4. Show someone how to do something – then cross promote <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                TAKE ACTION!\u00a0 Move forward, test, measure, iterate<\/strong><\/p>\n
