In September 2020  they further announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/security\/microsoft-365-defender\">Microsoft 365 Defender<\/a> cross-platform line to  include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Microsoft 365 Defender<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>previously Microsoft Threat Protection<\/em>)<\/li><li><strong>Microsoft Defender for Endpoint<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>previously Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection<\/em>)<\/li><li><strong>Microsoft Defender for Office 365<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>previously Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection<\/em>)<\/li><li><strong>Microsoft Defender for Identity<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>previously Azure Advanced Threat Protection<\/em>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Microsoft Defender for Endpoint<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/security\/threat-protection\/microsoft-defender-atp\/microsoft-defender-advanced-threat-protection\">Microsoft Defender for Endpoint<\/a>\u00a0is a unified platform for preventative protection, post-breach detection, automated investigation, and response.
