known as SoftGrid prior to Microsoft\u2019s purchase had a fledgling web based self-service application provisioning tool called Zero Touch.\u00a0 Sure, it sounds like the image deployment methodology from Microsoft called \u201czero touch\u201d but why kill it?\u00a0 Re-brand it and offer it \u2013 nothing new there.\u00a0 That\u2019s pretty common MS practice.\u00a0 MED-V is still blush with Kidaro brand colors and its former artwork.<\/p>\n<p>Once logged in to SoftGrid\u2019s Zero Touch you could provision your own apps or make request to your manager or an approver for anything not approved.<\/p>\n<p>In the absence of a Microsoft offering <a href=\"https:\/\/jorgep.com\/blog\/link-not-available\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Virtual World blog<\/a> (which is Microsoft \u2013 hmmm) is reporting that <a href=\"https:\/\/jorgep.com\/blog\/link-not-available\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Immido AppScriber 2.0<\/a> is now available.<\/p>\n<p>Eerily odd the feature list looks like a close cousin to Zero Touch.\u00a0 In the absence of their own product once again Microsoft will be playing catch-up if they ever decide this market is worth the entry.\u00a0 And why wouldn\u2019t it \u2013 making it easier for folks to get their apps without making a call to the helpdesk or opening a ticket for something that if you\u2019re already approved for kind of
