Michael Niehaus posted a blog titled:&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.technet.microsoft.com\/windowsitpro\/2017\/11\/14\/progressing-windows-as-a-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Progressing Windows as a Service&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;in which&nbsp; informed the Windows 10 community that Microsoft will be extending the End of Support for Windows 10 v1511&nbsp; until April 2018 (previously announced for Oct 1, 2017):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To help some early enterprise adopters that are still finishing their transition to Windows as a service, we will be providing a supplemental servicing package for Windows 10, version 1511 for an additional six months, until April 2018, providing updates to address critical and important security issues that arise during that time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I have mentioned in previous posts, there are many organizations that deployed Windows 10 as if it was Windows XP or Windows 7 and simply&nbsp; do not yet understand the new Windows as a Service model and cadence.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This represents an opportunity for all of us in the to provide significant value to our clients.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have&nbsp;
