A new version of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) was realsed early April and includes includes MED-V v1.0, a cummulative update to App-V andupdate to \u00a0AIS. \u00a0 \u00a0This update \u00a0has been a much anticipated primarily because of MED-V which is finally available under the Microsoft name. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The official posting at the MDOP blog<\/a> tells us two especially interesting \u00a0points to us: \u00a0<\/p>\n

  1. App-V4.5 CU1 adds support for Windows 7; and\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. There are 14.4 million MDOP\u00a0licenses sold\u00a0worldwide<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
