I really like the concept of Chrome OS \u2013 with so many places now where WiFi is enabled and mobile phones becoming wifi routers it is beginning to make sense\u2026<\/p>\n

I have been considering a Chrome OS based machine for a while, but frankly, I think the prices have been a bit too high\u2026 I just saw the announcement regarding the new Samsung Chromebook<\/a> soon to be released for $249 dollars.<\/p>\n

I quickly went to check the specs, and compare it to the old Samsung Series 5 550. (See below)<\/p>\n

Aside from the memory \u2013 Although I think this can be a good deal if you are looking for an internet-based device,\u00a0 the prices need to come down a more (maybe in the $100-150 range) to be viable platforms\u2026<\/p>\n
