New Samsung Chromebook
I really like the concept of Chrome OS – with so many places now where WiFi is enabled and mobile phones becoming wifi routers it is beginning to make sense…
I have been considering a Chrome OS based machine for a while, but frankly, I think the prices have been a bit too high… I just saw the announcement regarding the new Samsung Chromebook soon to be released for $249 dollars.
I quickly went to check the specs, and compare it to the old Samsung Series 5 550. (See below)
Aside from the memory – Although I think this can be a good deal if you are looking for an internet-based device, the prices need to come down a more (maybe in the $100-150 range) to be viable platforms…
What do you think ?
