Very interesting announcements this week coming out of Computex 2024 in Taiwan.

Jensen Huang from NVIDIA keynote kicked off the Computex 2024 (Taiwan) Sunday night…. Starts at timestamp 13:23. It is an update to his GTC keynote 2 months ago – new product too!,

It is impressive / amazing how he now tells the entire story of the platform he has built ! Most definitely worth the 1.5 hours!

NVIDIA RTX AI PC Laptops: NVIDIA introduced new RTX AI PC laptops from ASUS and MSI featuring GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs and power-efficient systems-on-a-chip with Windows 11 AI PC capabilities. These AI PCs will receive a free update to Copilot+ PC experiences when available. For gamers, creators, and developers, these laptops unlock new experiences, powered by silicon running at over 40 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second).

ARM made the announcement that they are their path toward enabling over 100 billion ARM devices ready for AI by the end of 2025. Also ARM KleidiAI: To empower developers, Arm introduced KleidiAI, part of a new suite of AI compute libraries

AMD made significant announcements related to high-performance computing with the focus extended to PC, data center, and AI solutions. Products announcement included Ryzen 9000, Zen 5 CPU Architecture, AI Accelerators (MI300 Series)

INTEL was also strong showing AI-PCs partnership with Microsoft, Lunar Lake , Xeon6 Processors and of course Gaudi AI accelerators. I think what strike me the most was the strong statement that they made about x86 architecture, and they are ready to show the world!
