Directly from The Next Web (TNW)   the latest market share data based on   — July 2013 Net Applications data (which uses data captured from 160 million unique visitors each month by monitoring some 40,000 websites for its clients).

A couple of highlights:

  • Microsoft Windows and Microsoft IE are clearly “in control”
  • Windows 8 now up to 5.40% market share (not as high, but significant)
