Reminder to Self: Enable Remote Publishing
When you migrate from WordPress.com into your own hosted instance of WordPress, there is a setting you need to enable if you are using Microsoft’s LiveWritter (or any other tool like it) to write blogs.
XML-RPC — By default it is disabled.
To enable it, you go into Settings –> Writing and towards the bottom of the page you will find Remote Publishing.
I have done this multiple times in the past, but I keep forgetting, and I go into research more loosing valuable time.
