Current (and last) release of Windows 10 is 22H2 Microsoft announced it will only be releasing security patches until the Windows 10 end of Support
After October 14. 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Updates, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10
Please note that LTSC versions of Windows 10 have different end of service dates, depending on when they were released.
on 12/10/2023 Microsoft announced the Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU), which will include Critical and Important security updates after support for Windows 10 ends. The editions that qualify for the Windows 10 ESU include Enterprise, Education, and Pro in Commercial use. The pricing for the ESUs follows:
- ESU will be free for all Windows 365 customers.
- For Individuals: one-year Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for $30 USD
- For organizations: $61 for year one, $122 for year two, and $244 for year three.
