App-V will be in Windows 10 Core!

Great news for the App-V community…   This week, Microsoft finally announced that they will be releasing App-V  into the core of the Windows 10 operating system, and  will be available to Windows 10 enterprise license holders. As one of the early users of the App-V ( originally named SoftGrid) this brings me back at least 10 years (if not more).    The technology has improved tremendously over the past few years, but at its core remains the same:   Application Virtualization – Applicaitons delivered and executed at the client in a bubble. 🙂    If you think about it it is just like containers!
