Ride: Back of Lake Peasant
My Son Alexander came over for the holidays, and of course I had to show him the Arizona back country!
The Route
Equipment:
- UTV Polaris RZR EFI 900XP
- RZR UTV Side by Side
- Video: Dragon Camera
It was a great 3 hour – 42 mile ride, and despite the fact that he does not like the desert, we had fun. It was the first time on this kind of off-roading! The elevation gain was 4,000 feet! so we were cold at some point.
A few rides back I took Kevin on a similar ride, and we found ourselves on a place where we could not find the trail out, so we had to back track. This time my son looked at the GPS Screen / map and saw the rugged terrain and spotted the track up the hill — it was a steep curve, but it was right there! — He went up and spotted me as I went up — Pretty cool (he may be a natural at this!
Loved the time with my son! (We do not get much of it together anymore)
