Windows 11 Compatibility for Businesses
As a first step in your jorney to Windows 11, you’ll need to know which of your current devices meet the Windows 11 hardware requirements. Most devices purchased in the last 18-24 months will be compatible with Windows 11. Verify that your device meets or exceeds Windows 11 requirements to ensure it’s compatible.
Microsoft released the PC Health Check tool for individuals users to check if their device is comptible with Windows 11.
If you are using Microsoft Endpoint Manager ( Configuration manager or Intune ) Microsoft has embedded compatibility checkers and reports to make the job easier.
However, for organizations that do not use Microsoft tools to manage their devices, or need to get a snapshot of their fleet’s ability to upgrade to Windows 11 there are few options available.
Here are a few scripts that you can run, and export the results and send them to a central collection point.
